Our Firewall system platform with radically different goals such as using OpenBSD's ported Packet Filter, FreeBSD for excellent packet queuing and finally an integrated package management system for extending the environment with new features.

Our Firewalls make it possible to filter incoming and outgoing traffic that flows through the system. It also can be used one or more sets of “rules” to inspect the network packets as they come in or go out of the network connections and either allows the traffic through or blocks it. The rules of this firewall system can inspect one or more characteristics of the packets,including but not limited to the protocol type, the source or destination host address, and the source or destination port.

This includes the ability to provide for multiple WAN connections, with clustering and load balancing, such that one user can effectively utilize several connections to the internet at the same time. It also provides a Captive Portal feature which allows a user to limit connections to their server based on user login.

This firewall includes most all the features in expensive commercial firewalls, and more in many cases. The following is a list of features currently available in the current release. All of these things are possible in the web interface, without touching anything at the command line.
In addition to features, this page also includes all limitations of the system of which we are aware. From our experience and the contributed experiences of our users, we understand very well what the software can and cannot do. Every software package has limitations. Where we differ from most is we clearly communicate them.

* Kernel level checkpoints to block bitorrent traffic/connection . The specific packets of torrents can be queued for traffic shaping through throttling process for either route to kill or to assigning bandwidth limitations
